I embarked on a creative journey to bring a character to life, and the process was nothing short of exhilarating. It all began with a spark of inspiration that led me to sketch the initial concept art in Photoshop. With the guidance and expertise of my art director, I honed my skills, fine-tuning the concept many times, it's still not perfect, but I hope can improve it more in the future.
Taking the concept art as my compass, I delved into the realm of 3D modeling using ZBrush. This stage allowed me to sculpt the character's form and breathe three-dimensional life into it. Substance Painter became my canvas for texturing the low-poly model, adding depth and dimension to the character's appearance. Although my primary focus was on the trailer's low-poly model, I also dedicated time to create a high-poly version during my free time. This extended my creative exploration and allowed me to delve into finer details. The final touch involved poly painting the character in ZBrush, infusing it with vibrant colors and textures. The character was rendered within ZBrush, bringing it to life for our gaming world.
